>> Shangda Electronic COF Project Landed in Sichuan for the BOE OLED Project 23th,April,2019
On April 16, Shangda Electronic Soft and Hard Circuit Board and COF Production Base Project signed a contract in Suining, Sichuan, with a total investment of about 5.8 billion yuan, mainly for Chengdu, Chongqing and Mianyang BOE.
Shangda Electronics is one of the largest flexible circuit board suppliers in China and is expected to enter the top 5 of the global FPC industry in the next 5 years.
It is reported that the soft and hard circuit board of this investment is composed of flexible circuit board and rigid circuit board, which are combined by pressing process and other related processes to form a circuit board with FPC characteristics and PCB characteristics. Key technologies required for COF project OLED flexible display technology.
In addition, Shangda Electronics invested RMB 3.5 billion in the construction of COF project in Zhangzhou in 2017. The project has been built to fill the gap in the domestic independent design and manufacture of flexible packaging substrates for tape and reel drive ICs. Huawei, vivo, BOE, Tianma and many other domestic customers. They are closely watching their production.
The 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line project announced by BOE is located in Chengdu, Chongqing, Mianyang and Fuzhou. The Chengdu production line has been put into operation, and the Mianyang production line is expected to be put into operation this year. The Chongqing production line is under construction.
